| If you have tried Google's browser Chrome and liked it but felt uncomfortable with all of the lack of privacy issues with it, there is some good news for you. A German software developer has taken the OpenSource that Chrome is built on and has stripped out all of the privacy invading parts and is offering it to the public. It is called Iron and it is small, easy and fast. There is a stable Windows release and a relatively new Alpha Windows release available right now. I have been using it for four days now. Today is the fifth day. I have set it as my default browser. I have been using Firefox for years now and I miss a lot of the features that can be added by using extensions and add-ons in Firefox. It is probably the most customizable browser available. And rock solid and secure if you set it up to be so.
One thing that is nice about Iron is how quickly it starts up. I have had a few crashes but it restarts immediately and since I have set it to restore previous tabs I have been able to get right back to where I was in just a couple of seconds. It looks like it is worth a try so if you are curious go to http://www.srware.net and check it out. There is a forum that has everything you need to know to get it going the way you wish. | | |
| At a recent concert in Glasgow, Scotland , the lead singer of the band U2, Bono, asked the audience for total quiet.
Then, in the silence, he started to slowly clap his hands once every few seconds. While having everyone's complete attention, he said into the microphone, "Every time I clap my hands, a child in Africa dies."
A voice with a broad Scottish accent from the front of the crowd pierced the silence. "Well, foockin stop doin it then, ya evil basturd!"

Last night
I dreamt we cannot continue to enjoy the small joys. How is this
related to Blueberry-Flavored Anything, you may ask? OK. It was back in
2000 my mind was set on crazy stuff. Yeah, RIGHT. And here's the gist;
